New Way Air Bearings® manufactures a single-faced New-Seal™ for when you require extra compliance against a surface. Through the use of our Externally Pressurized Porous (EPP) Media, these robust seals offer a non-contact, leak-free solution, all without lubricant or contacting parts like a conventional seal. The single faced seal is differentiated from our double faced seals by their ability to operate at high speeds, featuring runner components which use tolerance rings to maintain a holding force, and feature mechanical preloaded compression springs for additional compliance. These same springs allow the single face seals to peratre in high temperature environments, as they can expand and contract depending on axial limitations of the application.

Adaptive hardware is also available, allowing for New-Seal to become a drop-in ready retrofit component.
