Founded by our CEO Drew Devitt, Devitt Machinery is our sister company with whom we collaborate on projects and unique applications. Devitt Machinery is the North American distributor for Moglice and DWH products, and is highly skilled in machine alignment. Previously, New Way and Devitt Machinery worked together on a precision epoxy flooring designed to support flat round air bearings for the field production of wind turbine components.

Now under the umbrella of Robex, +Vantage Corp is one of our oldest industry partners. Started in 2003 to help automotive manufacturers, +Vantage is now a global company for the production of bespoke automation, inspection, assembly and systems integration technologies. Their capabilities cover fully and semi automatic solutions for industries ranging from biotech to aerospace, and New Way products have a home in numerous +Vantage inspections systems which are too sensitive for contact bearings. IBS Precision Engineering
IBS Precision Engineering is globally renowned for producing measurement, positioning and motion systems, and we’ve worked in tandem on numerous projects both as end users and as systems integrators for a client. The ISARA400 is the world’s most accurate 3D CMM, with a rated accuracy on the order of 50 nm; this positioning is thanks to flat round air bearings. Sheffield
Sheffield, now part of Hexagon, invented the coordinate measuring machine. Much of the precision and ease of operation for which they’re known is thanks to the frictionless motion of air bearings. To this day we still offer drop in ready, retrofit bearings for many Sheffield products.
Jun-Air
Jun-Air has been supplying air compressors to more than 100 countries since 1958. Their oil free systems are the ideal complement for a porous media air bearing system, to supply clean dry air with low noise levels and long lasting performance.
ALIO Industries
ALIO Industries, based in Arvada, Colorado, has been an industry leader in nanometer precision motion, quality control, and systems integration since their founding in 2001. In 2009 they achieved a world first, developing an air bearing lift state, with motion repeatability below 10 nanometers. In 2021, ALIO was acquired by Allied Motion, an Allient company and is continuing to grow and evolve. As an established source for both off the shelf and custom solutions, ALIO integrates a wide array of New Way porous media air bearings for their complete lineup of air bearing based stages.
IST Precision Engineering Services
IST precision Services is based out of Mooresville, North Carolina, and offers a wide array of services relating to engineering design, automation and controls, and product development. IST has a longstanding relationship with New Way and a history of successful partnerships on such products as their Arc Second Precise Goniometer, which leveraged radial and flat round air bearings to exceed design specifications for their aerospace client.
