New Way® Air Bearings Extends Line of Flat Rectangular Air Bearings To Accommodate New Profiles and Applications
Aston, Pennsylvania, USA, June 26, 2008 -- New Way Air Bearings has expanded its line of flat, rectangular porous media air bearings, adding seven new profiles to a core product line previously consisting of four sizes. This includes three larger bearings (up to 150mm x 300mm) designed to address the expanding sizes of the FPD and solar manufacturing industries; and four smaller bearings (down to 12mm x 24mm), engineered to eliminate problematic friction from high-precision micromachining or nano-positioning applications. The New Way flat rectangular air bearing line now includes a total of 11 profiles altogether.
