LOCAL HISTORIC SITES

George Washington slept here. Really. Visitors to Philadelphia and the Brandywine Valley can say that and more as they tour the multitude of historic sites in the area. The community surrounding New Way is rich in American history, and it is our great pleasure to highlight some of those sites here.

From the Liberty Bell to the Constitution, from Betsy Ross House to Ben Franklin's grave, Philadelphia's Historic District is full of fascinating sites, and sights, each revealing something of our heritage and history.
Take a step back in time with a visit to the historically rich Brandywine Valley. Visit the Colonial Penn Plantation, Brandywine Battlefield, the Kalmar Nyckel clipper ship, the Kennett Underground Railroad, and more.
